Thom joined the Company in 2006. He is responsible for FARcapital’s new business development. Prior to joining the Company, he co-founded and managed Cambium Capital Management, a conservative Jones model hedge fund consisting of US equity long/short positions targeting large institutional investors. Before Cambium, Mr. Young worked as a Managing Director of Deutsche Bank in New York serving in several roles to include as a Global Relationship Manager and as Co- Head of Global Institutional sales.
From 1983-1996 Mr. Young worked at The First Boston Corporation in New York and Atlanta. As an institutional salesperson Mr. Young covered the investment divisions of state pensions (3 of the top 12), large college endowments, and major foundations.
Mr. Young earned his MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School ’83 and his undergraduate degree from Davidson College’ 78.
